Don’t make this so easy. The biggest turkey was easily the media, including the Post-Dispatch, and especially Deb Peterson for printing a completely false allegation about Gov. Palin. The media was truly disgraceful in their lack of coverage about PE Obama. I hope the country doesn’t end up with salmonealla poisoning.

Imagine the torment they’ll have writing about the massacre in Mumbai — or as they’ll pronounce it, The Mumbai Massacre.

Whadyamean they keep reading? Even though it is the only game in town, fewer are playing. SLPD circulation is now the lowest it has been in my lifetime (and that’s a long time).

We read this blog, because of the diversity of points of view - and the price is right.

The problem with a newspaper monopoly isn’t with its editorial page - too few give a damn what they say. The problem is story selection. It isn’t so much the slant given to a particular story, it’s the thousands of worthy stories (both left and right) that management refuses to print. At least the internet makes it harder for the corporate media to conceal news like they were accustomed to doing for so many years.

Oracle nailed it. Its what is censored that is important.

I have two:
1. Proposition B was passed overwhelmingly because no one knew the SEIU paid for it and slipped in a provision that a 10% minority vote will drag the other 90% of home health workers into the union (The Post endorsed the sham).

2. The lawsuits in Capital City over Amendment 2 (cloning Constitutionally protected) and whether taxpayers are on the hook to pay for the “science”. Add that there is no analysis of the total failure of cloned embryo research to cure Michael Fox or anyone else, only tremendous political strife left in the wake of the $31 billion campaign.

BobZ - I have yet to see an editorial explaining how I thought everyone loved American now that H has been elected - so why were the Muslim terrorists looking for Americans to kill? Wow - I am really confused and what about the poor people in the Jewish Center - can’t Obama fix that too?

I’m thankful that I don’t live in the city of St. Louis, with it’s crime ranking in the top 10 in the country.

I agree that the slanted media was the biggest turkey of all.

Oh and Centrist, Obama hasn’t been sworn in yet…so the rest of the world still hates us. On January 20th, the rest of the world will love us and there will be no more hate towards America. Peace will reign throughout the world and our enemies will love us.
