There’s been no sign of VP nominee Sarah Palin on the Capitol steps, but she was apparently working the crowd as they stood in line on High Street this morning.

Ellen Turner, 42, said she was in line at about 9:30 and she got to shake Palin’s hand and take a picture on her digital camera. Turner is from California, Mo., and is a lifelong Republican.

She’s very excited about the McCain/Palin ticket: “I’m excited to see a woman who is strong enough to encourage us as women to be leaders,” she said.

Turner works at Wal-Mart in Jefferson City. She worked a night shift and came right to the event.

The only question in my mind right now is, which President would be better for my wallet? Here is a very helpful chart that laid it out for me:

I can’t believe I just read the previous post! How hatefull can one person be? Margo, take your hate rhetoric to the Daily Kos or the Huffington Post. There you can stroke your Obama ego with all the other left wing nuts. Go McCain/Palin!

Margo,
Please refrain from any more alcoholic beverages. Your post was ridiculous. Hate doesn’t begin to describe it.

Tony, please remove the previous post from “margo concerned.” Not only is it extremely offensive regarding Governor Palin, but also to imply that Palin’s daughter should have gone to an abortion clinic is beyond reprehensible. Shame on you “margo concerned” and also this blog for not having removed it immediately upon posting.

Appalled,

It’s been deleted. I’ve been at the Palin event and so I didn’t read any of the responses until just now. Usually takes awhile, and frequently takes somebody to let us know, as you did, before we remove an offensive post. I agree, she went too far.

Thanks for the heads up.

Tony

Sarah Palin and her family have withstood the abuses of a bias media and has remained focused and on message for America. New information has surfaced about Frank William Davis (Obamas childhood mentor in Hawaii) that will chill you to the bone. I think my concern is most Americans are going into this election with little or no knowledge about who Obama really is, who influenced him as a child and as an adult.
