Blunt orders flags at half-staff for former Judge Bardgett

Gov. Matt Blunt has ordered all flags in Jefferson City and Cole County to fly at half-staff in honor of state Supreme Court Judge John “Jack” E. Bardgett Sr. , who served on the state Supreme Court fora dozen years.
Judge Bargdett, who was 81, died Saturday.
“John Bardgett was a dedicated public servant and we honor his life and memory,” Blunt said in a statement. “Melanie and I offer our prayers and condolences to his family and many friends.”
