The two buses from Washington Metropolitan AME Zion Church rolled into D.C. at 6 a.m. and found out that hundreds of buses from around the country were already at RFK Stadium, the official parking spot for buses carrying people to today’s inauguration.

Lines are long, but drivers are being patient and friendly - so far. And passengers are snapping photos of the sea of white charter buses and the heavy police and military presence.

Once the buses are parked, passengers still have to make a two-mile trip to the National Mall. Shuttles are expected to run. A nearby Metro station is bustling as vendors set up tables to sell Obama memorabilia.
