Line of Vision

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - State House prosecutor David Ellis has written more than just legal briefs and the House impeachment report against Gov. Rod Blagojevich. Ellis is an award-winning novelist with five murder-mysteries under his belt.

Ellis’ first novel, “Line of Vision,” won the 2002 Edgar Allen Poe Award for Best First Novel by an American Author.

His most recent work, “Eye of the Beholder,” was released in 2007.

“If you’re asking if there’s fodder here (for another novel)…no one would believe it if I put it in a book,” Ellis said of the Blagojevich impeachment saga.
