Nixon delivers his first State of the State address
Gov. Jay Nixon’s State of the State has contained few surprises, but one nice promise (at least for the press corps) was saying an open and accountable government is a Missouri principle.
As many of you know, former Gov. Matt Blunt refused to hand over some e-mails, which led to a lawsuit by then-Attorney General Nixon, as well as a multiple-publication freedom of information request.
