St. Louis native will speak for Jill Biden
A St. Louis native has been named the top communications aide for the vice-president’s wife.
Courtney O’Donnell will serve as the communications director for Jill Biden, the president-elect’s transition office announced Monday.
Though only in her early 30s, O’Donnell is already a political veteran. In the 2004 presidential contest, she was a spokesperson for Democrat Howard Dean’s campaign, and later deputy press secretary for Elizabeth Edwards, wife of vice-presidential nominee John Edwards.
O’Donnell is the daughter of Tom, who worked for A.G. Edwards, and Phyllis O’Donnell of Town and Country.
Though we don’t know where she went to high school, we do know she went to college at Georgetown University, where, according to an old Deb Peterson column in the archives, O’Donnell worked as a nanny for conservative columnist George Will.

Can someone tell me why the Vice President’s wife needs a spokesman? I can’t believe the number of political and bureaucratic offices (and now wives) that feel the need to employ these people.
Courtney went to Craig School in the Parkway school district and attended Germantown Academy in Philadelphia from 5th through 12th grade.
It’s all about sinecures
Remember Hillary Rodham Clinton’s firing & fradulent prosecution of Billy Dale aka Travelgate?
“We’ve got to get them out and get out people in!”

You folks may not know it but Jill Biden has apparently rendered unable to speak. Therefore a “communications assistant” is now necessary.
Give me a forking break!! Can our government find anything else on which to spend our money?
