Loudon, left, and Talent

Word is that former Republican State Sen. John Loudon of Chesterfield, who lost a bid for state auditor in the 2006 primary, is interested in running for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Kit Bond.

Loudon, a social conservative, would appeal to the state’s evangelical base, though may have trouble muscling out party heavyweights like Roy Blunt and Peter Kinder.

Speaking of party heavyweights: Politico reports that former U.S. Sen. Jim Talent — who lost his own seat in 2006 to Claire McCaskill — may try a return to Capitol Hill.

@Ann Thanks but I know where to find the bill. I also know where to find the staffers that provided the info. I used to trust like you but then I started doing my own research.

I wonder how many profiles John Loudon can create on STL Today? It seems like there are about 20 on this comment section alone. I’ve just come to the conclusion that John Loudon has a curiously symbiotic relationship to Al Sharpton. When anyone criticizes Al they are immediately labled “RACIST”. When anyone criticizes Johnny Loudon they are immediately labeled “PREDATOR”. If you believe in reincarnation I think we’d be able to trace Johnny’s lineage right back to Salem, where he was burning his critics back then for being “Witches”.

Top 10 Reasons why John Loudon wants to replace Kit Bond in the U.S. Senate.

10. Having already kicked all Missouri’s poor single mothers off Medicaid he’s looking for a bigger pool of victims.
09. There’s just not enough Negroes and Spic’s in the Midwest to pick on anymore.
08. Wants to be the nation’s first 11 year old Senator “Na, Na, Na Boo, Boo”.
07. His wife needs a job.
06. It’s gotta be easier than being state auditor.
05. Wants to do for the Country’s injured working class what he’s done for Missouri’s, “#@% um”.
04. Needs to live closer to his husband in Massachusetts.
03. Without Matt Blunt as governor, Missouri is just no fun anymore.
02. Wants those activist judges (Scalia and Thomas) off the Supreme Court!

And the NUMBER 1 reason John Loudon wants to replace Kit Bond in the U.S. Senate: He’d run for the House but Mark Foley has already stretched out all the cute Page boys.
