Welcome to Washington: McCaskill greets Missourians making the big trip
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill opened her Capitol Hill office Saturday afternoon, welcoming Missourians who have made the trip to the nation’s capital for Barack Obama’s inauguration.
Among the guests treated to cookies and root beer — from Fitz’s in the Delmar Loop, of course — were brothers Mike and Steve Roberts, Mike’s son, Mike Jr., former State Sen. Chuck Graham, former State Rep. Sam Page, Lambert commissioner Bob McNutt, and lawyer Jerry Christmas, who works in McCaskill’s office.
Many in attendance though, were some of the two dozen McCaskill family members in town, a crew the senator has affectionately termed “The Griswolds.”

The St Louis Obama Dispatch
“Among the guests treated to cookies and ROOT BEAR - from Fitz’s in the Delmar Loop, of course …”
I hope former Senator Graham wasn’t hitting the BEAR too hard. It might smack him back.
