Rep. Roy Blunt takes his week-old bid for next year’s Republican U.S. Senate nomination to GOP vote-rich St. Charles County tonight, with an appearance at the county party’s Lincoln Day gathering.

The event, at the Columns Banquet and Conference Center in St. Charles, starts at 5:30 p.m. and the southwest Missouri Congressman will speak at 7 p.m.

Brandy Pedersen, the county GOP committee’s vice-chairman, said Rep. Todd Akin, R-Town and Country, also will speak.

I’m assuming Roy’s second wife the Big Tobacco lobbyist will be on his arm?

Why would anyone want to vote Roy Blunt into the US Senate? He’s a loser, just like his son. Their principles and beliefs are wrong, simply put. Robin Carnahan will win that race hands down.

Why would we want either one? Over 5 million Missourians and our only choices are Carnahan and Blunt? Is this what our state has become? How about some new blood!

Reddog, please dont act like Democrats elitists are poor. Claire is the richest one in Missouri so why dont you sound the same when it comes to her, or for that matter Carnahan?
