Hair ball: Chicago comedy troupe has fun at Blago’s expense
Second City combs through the Blagojevich scandal
One of our Springfield scribes, Kari Andren, writes today about the latest political laughingstock in the Illinois capital — a comedic interpretation of the rise and fall of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich.
The production — “Rod Blagojevich Superstar!” by the famed Second City troupe out of Chicago — follows His Hairness from his early days as a lawyer, through his marriage to Patti Blagojevich to his six years as governor.
The show also portrays state Attorney General Lisa Madigan, U.S. Sen. Roland Burris and U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, including one scene where Fitzgerald serenades Madigan for her “sexy knees.”
According to the Andren, the players continue to revise the script as current events require. Second City plans on bringing an updated version back to Springfield in May.
Should be bleepin’ hilarious.
Yeah, they sold out all 5 shows this first weekend. How about hosting them in St. Louis for a weekend?

However if this is not enough, as indeed just might not be, they can do mercenary-contracts with THE HAMMAS, HEZBOLAH, SPIDERMAN, MADONNA, THE ENTIRE CREW FROM THE TV TABLOIDS CNN AND MSNBC, AND SATAN (and about his last mentioned character,…they are not too far from)
