Huckabee

ST. LOUIS — Former Arkansas governor and GOP White House hopeful Mike Huckabee will make another stop in Missouri, speaking tonight on the campus of St. Louis University.

On Monday, Huckabee keynoted a gathering of the anti-abortion Vitae Foundation in Jefferson City, where coincidentally — or perhaps not — legislators the same night had a prolonged debate on an abortion bill.

At 7 p.m. tonight,  the runner-up in last year’s Republican presidential primary will speak at SLU’s Busch Student Center about “America’s healthcare crisis.”

Huckabee will be available to answer questions and sign copies of his book.

Too bad for Huckabee he’s about a week and half early for opening day at Busch Stadium. Growing up in Arkansas, Huckabee was a Cards fan, which back then was the closest team.

““But of course, that was before the Texas Rangers and the Astros existed,” Huckabee told the New York Times in December 2007. “So really it was St. Louis or nothing.”

Great, finally I can get a chance to hear him speak about all of the unwanted children he has adopted.

Hear the republiscums go again. Sending out Huckabee, their on staff, card carring religious cult fanatic to despense another dose of brainwashing to their republiscum faithful about anti-abortion, trying to keep their brand alive. The republiscums don’t have and never have had a plan to make this country a better place for the majority of its citizens, only a plan to keep the richest 1% richer an in power. They single out a couple of smoke screen items like abortion, anti-gun control, prayer in school, etc. to keep the jesus freaks excited so they don’t have to do anything to really help the country. And the cult worshiping fools keep falling for it every time. While everyone is in a frenzy about abortion, prayer in school, school vouchers, they don’t have to worry about legitimate issues to really make this country better. They just work in the background taking away workers rights, removing necessary regulation to make the middle class worse off and and to make the top 1% better off. I hope all you anti-abortion wackos are sending your money to the octomom to help with all her children. She didn’t abort them and I’m sure she is going to need some financial help, now that she kicked out the free nurse help she was receiving. Several of her older children are already on welfare, so it won’t be long before the eight new ones will be too. So just like church, All of you anti-abortion whiners should already be tithing at least 10% of your incomes to child welfare programs to help keep her and others off of welfare program you all despise so much. If your not, then this alone proves you’re a bunch of hypocrites.

To the last commenter: Just look at Huckabee’s excellent record as a Governor and you will see that he is different than what you say. He turned that state completely around and not for just the top 1%, like you say. If you don’t appreciate his stand on abortion, then perhaps you should enlighten us to exactly when you believe life begins. At what point do you think that people should have their rights protected under the constitution? If you can’t answer that question, then you only need to look in a mirror to see a true hypocrite.
