JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri State Highway Patrol has stopped distributing a report that links specific third-party candidates, as well as anti abortion ideology, to modern militias.

In a statement, MSHP Col. James Keathley also said the procedure for releasing such reports will be revamped so that higher-up officials in MSHP and the Department of Public Safety  will approve the reports before release.

Keathley said DPS Director John Britt was not at fault for the problems. Earlier today, Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder called for Britt to be placed on administrative leave pending investigation into this issue.

“procedure for releasing such reports will be revamped…” in other words… we will make sure these reports don’t make it to the public or the media.

Damage control mode! I wonder … how many minor players will be thrown to the wolves to save Britt’s job and MIAC’s budget?

So now that they’ve shown their true colors and intent, how are we supposed to trust them? Profiling according to race is illegal here in Missouri, but profiling as to political or spiritual beliefs is okay? I have great regard for many individual MSHP troopers but I completely distrust the MSHP upper echelon. Many years ago it was not unusual for law enforcement to be used as a political weapon. I thought those days were long dead. Apparently I was wrong. The “messiah” obama will silence all who oppose him, one way or the other. Ooops, I gotta go, my reynold wrap cap fell off and I don’t want them to read my thoughts. Satire is a wonderful thing.
