ST. LOUIS — Angie Singler’s campaign for alderman is bringing a bit of the fall into the spring election.

Singler, one of four Democrats vying for an open seat in the 25th Ward, is making the rounds today in the “Ram Van,” a tailgate vehicle tailor made for football Sunday at the Edward Jones Dome.

The truck is courtesy of Mike Button, president of the 25th Ward Democratic Organization, which is backing Singler.

Hard to imagine the St. Louis Rams — who won only twice last season — bringing any type of extra luck on Election Day. But, if nothing else, the back of the truck looks like a nice place to warm up in between courting voters.

Way to go Angie. The neighborhood will be a better place with you as our alderwoman. Good luck.

They’re IN A VAN!….DOWN BY THE RIVER!”
This is by far the best race in all Wards today. Can’t wait to see who wins. And what happens to the ward after today? What does Travis Reems do now, McDonalds?

I know that truck! It was always parked along Gustine avenue in the 25th Ward when I lived there. I always wondered what it was used for though.
Thanks for the fun e-day story.
