Rep. Hannig’s wife officially replaces him in Illinois House

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - As predicted here and elsewhere, Litchfield resident Betsy Hannig has been tapped to replace her husband, Illinois Rep. Gary Hannig, D-Litchfield, in the Illinois House. (He’s leaving to become the new Transportation secretary for Gov. Pat Quinn.)
The decision last night, by Democratic Party chairpeople in the six counties that encompass the Hannig’s 98th Legislative district, was unanimous. The district lies between the Metro East and Springfield. (More from the Springfield State Journal-Register.)
When are these clowns in Jeff City going to realize that a fetus IS NOT A BABY; an embryo IS NOT A BABY! They are the ones who should be kept from breeding as they only dilute the gene pool of our species.
