Absentees favor Slay by a wide margin
St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Slay
UPDATE: Slay adds to lead — 64 percent with a quarter of the votes tallied.
ST. LOUIS — The first results are in: Mayor Francis Slay lapped his rivals in absentee votes.
In numbers released moments ago, Slay netted 1,802 — 68 percent — of the absentee ballots in today’s election. Independent Maida Coleman had most of the rest, with 724 absentees.

Better update again–the election board is showing his lead down to 53% and Coleman climbing to 41%.
Better update. Maida Coleman, a very tiny blip on the political radar screen.
