Aldermen, new and old, take their seats for new term

Aldermen take the oath at City Hall
ST. LOUIS — Fourteen aldermen — half of the board — were sworn-in this morning as the new legislative session begins.
Several are veteran lawmakers back for four more years: Phyllis Young, Freeman Bosley Sr., Joe Roddy and Fred Wessels.
But the board does have three new members: Joe Vaccaro, Shane Cohn and Antonio French.
At noon, the mayor and comptroller will take their oaths of office.
Excellent Americans, all of them. They have my respect, admiration and thanks for serving our community.
