Woman who Blunt freed from prison on Oprah today
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
In one of his last acts in office, former Missouri governor Matt Blunt commuted the sentence of Stacey Lannert, a St. Louis County woman who was facing life in prison for the murder of her father.
Lannert and her supporters claimed the killing was to protect her and her sister from chronic sexual abuse.
Today, Lannert, freed from prison in January, will appear on the Oprah Winfrey show, airing at 4 p.m. on Channel 5.
