Cynthia Davis makes prime time — as Olbermann’s “worst person”
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
State Rep. Cynthia Davis’ opposition to a state program to feed hungry children has earned her a place on the national news — though not one she will necessarily relish.
On MSNBC last night, the O’Fallon, Mo. Republican was named the top-recipient in liberal talker Keith Olbermann’s “Worst Person in the World” segment.
Olbermann cited a recent newsletter from Davis, in which she offered this tip to underprivileged youngsters: “If you work for McDonald’s, they will feed you for free during your break.”
In addition to potentially coming off as perhaps insensitive, I’m not certain the advice is accurate.

No doubt causing all twelve of his viewers to wonder what the heck he was talking about.
Cynthia: Just remember a slur coming from Olbermann is something like one-hundred pats on the back from someone with a little sense. (He doesn’t even have a little)
> though not one she will necessarily relish.
On the contrary, Jake, she WILL relish it. Aside from the old “Say what you want about me, just spell my name right” thing, I’m sure she considers this just as much of an honor as some on the left would if Rush Limbaugh attacked them.
From the editorial: “I have not seen this as a problem in my district.”
And yet she presumes to lecture.
Olbermann isn’t perfect. But he’s no Devlin Defender either.
“State Rep. Cynthia Davis’ opposition to a state program to feed hungry children has earned her a place on the national news”
No, what it earned her was a passing mention by the BDU (South Park reference).
I love the McDonald’s statement…”Will work for food”!
The new Republican Mantra.
Finish scubbing the floors and get yourself a couple of french fries.
In regards to your link about McDonalds…that website is for the franchises in Bozeman, Montana…I am pretty sure the franchisee decides on the meal policy. Might want to check your facts…
Only our friend Jake would consider this ‘news’
Query where the parents who cannot manage to feed their own children fall in Olbermann’s rankings?
Since the private sector ALWAYS is better than government, why don’t we disband the military and let all of the second amendment loving gun owners defend the nation?
People like Ms. Davis sound like a bunch of anarchists to me.
