On Monday morning, wake-up early and Squawk with Kit Bond
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
In his long Senate career, Missouri Republican Kit Bond has been on national television plenty of times.
But has he ever played host?
On Monday morning, Bond will serve as a guest host on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” the financial network’s signature before-the-bell show.
“Tune in as Bond and Squawk Box anchors Becky Quick, Joe Kernen and Carl Quintanilla, talk about the critical issues facing our nation,” reads a media advisory from Bond’s office.
Wake up early or set the TiVo — the squawking begins at 6 a.m.

That’s a pretty early call for Kit. Hope he remembers to put on a shirt.
I am sure he will do better than Barney Frank who walked off CNBC last week.
I am sure Senator Bond will remember his shirt. We are about the same age, so I rise in his defense. But it is an early hour, so I would have to think hard before my morning coffee to remember that the T-shirt goes on the outside. This should be enjoyable. Live television is a high-wire act, and party politics aside, I have found Senator Bond to be quick with a quip. I wish him well!!
Thats why I won’t be watching it. What a bag of BS this guy is. Hope he brushes his damn teeth for a change, jeezzzzzzzzzzz.
6 a.m. in the morning isn’t early for Kit Bond. It’s just later than most nights.
