St. Louis University hosts U.N. Secretary General

Ban Ki-moon
Ban Ki-moon, the Secretary General of the United Nations, is in St. Louis today, discussing food safety and meeting with local political officials.
This morning, Ban met with, among others, Monsanto Co. and the Soy Bean Farmers Association, to address food security issues.
Later, he visited the Arch and had lunch with St. Louis County Executive Charlie A. Dooley.
At 4 p.m., Ban was expected at St. Louis University, headlining a talk on “Solving the World’s Food and Security Problems.”
Ban was also expected to meet Sens. Kit Bond and Claire McCaskill; Congressman Lacy Clay and Todd Akin; and Gov. Jay Nixon.
Ban, of South Korea, celebrates his 65th birthday Saturday. He took the helm of the U.N. in 2007.

I hope he might be able to look at this case!

Let’s see. Iran is erupting over possible election B.S. and North Korea is being North Korea, why is this man (with little or no jurisdiction over anything) having lunch with Charlie Dooley (another man of little distinction) and meeting our other local dignitaries? Shouldn’t he be in New York, just in case evil erupts?
The UN is easily the most corrupt, venal, and useless body on the planet. The president who tosses them out of New York will be hailed as a hero.
