JEFFERSON CITY — Attorney General Chris Koster told a group of Sunshine Law advocates earlier this year that he’d take the state’s open records law seriously.

Today, he made good on his word with a lawsuit against the Northeast Ambulance and Fire Protection District. That north St. Louis area district’s troubles with following the Sunshine Law have been well chronicled by the Post-Dispatch’s Elizabethe Holland.

Check out Holland’s story on the lawsuit here.

“Conspiracy theorists at the Capitol suspect, that Attorney General Chris Koster’s suit against the predominately African American Northeast Ambulance and Fire Protection District in St. louis County, is based partly on the District’s attorney Elbert Walton’s public opposition to the “Missouri Plan” last year. A little payback for Koster’s trial lawyer buddies?”

This has nothing to do with Missouri Plan or elected supreme court judges. It has nothing has nothing to do with black or white. The color it deals with is GREEN. As in Elbert Walton using the NE Ambulance Dist as his own money press.

Interesting…Koster paid Walton and this group for their endorsement.
Pissed off the North County Labor folks…refused the endorsement…now he’s suing them??? Guess the labor folks have more money and pull than Elbert…

DWright,
Or it could be that Elbert is so corrupt that it could not be ignored?

Damn, you white people are sure hung up on Elbert Walton. He must be one bad black man who must be doing a good job of uplifting black people. He must be good too. I understand he has not lost a case so far with the fire district. Damn I wish I had gone to law school so that I could make a good living like him. I guess you poor broke ass white people should try to go to law school too. I can imagine how comical well paid white lawyers, who are making millions of dollars a month in legal fees, find articles about a black man making only $120,000 a year. It is hard to believe that the Post would make such a fee front page news, and not just front page, but the top story of the day! Damn, you white people have lost your mind.
