The Young Democrats of St. Louis will take on the Young GOP on Sunday in the annual softball game between the two groups.

Young Democrats have tapped as their coach Board of Aldermen President Lewis Reed. The Dem roster will include Lori Lamprich, who was new Alderman Shane Cohn’s campaign manager; Brian Millner, an aide to Mayor Francis Slay; and Young Dem president Martin Casas.

No word yet on who will take the field for the Republicans, but last year Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder was the honorary “team owner.”

The 3 p.m. game will be at Shaw Park in Clayton.

Not to be rude, but we’ve smoked the YR’s 3 years in a row. Looking for a 4-peat this year!!!!!!!!

Since there will only be about a dozen people at the ‘game’, will someone please report back the final score? As if anyone would care….hey Fix-ers, how about some hard political news for a change? Like tracking down Robin Carnahan and asking her how she would have voted on Cap and Trade and the Obama Healthcare plan?
