Nixon appoints Rosenblum associate to county bench
Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon has appointed an associate of super-lawyer Scott Rosenblum to fill a vacancy in St. Louis County Circuit Court.
Nellie Ribaudo, an associate with Rosenblum’s Clayton firm, will become an associate circuit court judge, the governor’s office announced today. She’ll fill a vacancy created by the promotion of Judge Gloria Clark Reno, who is shedding the associate portion of her title.
Rosenblum is St. Louis’ most prominent criminal defense attorney: clients include former Rams great Marshall Faulk, current Rams lineman Leonard Little and Metro East Democratic powerbroker Tom Lakin.
I don’t know if Ribaudo, 38, is related to Tony Ribaudo, the former state representative from St. Louis who was a key player in the city’s Hill neighborhood for many years.
