The class 5 girls all state team is a joke. You have some good girls on the team, but please explain to me how you select them. #1) Do you select a player base on how successfull their team are? #2) Is this fair to the players who teams are not as good as the others, but that one player is just as good or even a better player than the one on a great team? #3) You also selected a player from every team that made the final four. #4) My guess is that you selected players based on their winnings. This is not fair to the great players who were over looked because their team was not that good. How could you leave out Ebony Davis of Parkway South? The girl from HZ Wood Central is a good player, but is not a better player than Davis? Look at the River War allstar game coming this Saturday, you have none of those players on your all state team, and the ones you do have on the the all state team did not make the all star game. The players that signed already and is playing in the all star game should have made all state. Ebony Davis(4 year starter -signed), Shelah Fields(4 year starter-signed), Kala Person(3 year starter-signed) Stock (3 year starter –signed), Grace 92 year starter — signed) Were are these girls? They should have made all state. Look at their stats compared to the girls on the all state team. It’s a shame that politics runs the state.
Just to clarify, this is the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association’s all-state teams.
The sportswriters/sportscasters all-state teams will probably be released later this week.

How can the coaches not select Samantha Heck for the Class 3 team? Averages 21 pts and 14 boards and isn’t selected? Thats a joke.
How can a coach be the coach of the year and he loses to a coach in the championship game. The coach he lost to did a far better job than the winner of this bogus honor.
