Miller Career Academy will forever be the underdog no matter what.
Why only have top 5 picks in Class Six and Class Five but have top 10 picks in all the lower classes?
James, are you saying Miller Career Academy should be ranked higher despite the team’s 5-3 record? Looks to me like the Phoenix are the only team in the state with three losses to even receive a vote in the polls.
TLC, I believe the reasoning is that there are less schools competing in Class 5 and Class 6. Personally, I don’t like it and I never have. But I don’t make the rules and the people who do so far have not been willing to change that.

I am surprised that Principia has not shown up in the class 2 rankings. They are 7-1 with their only loss coming from a top 10 state ranked class 4 school, MICDS. They average close to 40 points per game while their opponents average less than 16. Their average margin of victory is 23 points. If any St. Louis area school has earned the right to be in the discussion for class 2 I argue that Principia has made a case.
