Illinois football quarterfinals schedule
Here are the days and times for the local Illinois football teams playing in the IHSA postseason.
Class 7A
#2 East St. Louis (9-2) at #5 O’Fallon (8-3), Saturday, 1 p.m. This winner faces the #2 Wheaton Warrenville South (10-1)-#4 Chicago St. Rita (9-2) winner on Nov. 20 or 21 in the semifinals. South travels to St. Rita to play at 7 p.m. Friday.
Class 4A
#7 Metamora (10-1) at #6 Mater Dei (10-1), Saturday, 1 p.m. This winner plays the # Quincy Notre Dame (11-0)-#1 Rochester (11-0) winner on Nov. 20 or 21 in the semifinals. QND plays at Rochester at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Class 3A
#12 Pana (8-3) at #1 Greenville (11-0), Saturday, 2 p.m. This winner plays the #3 Tolono Unity (11-0)-#15 Nashville (7-4) winner on Nov. 20 or 21 in the semifinals. Tolono heads to Nashville for a 1:30 p.m. contest Saturday.
Class 7A
#2 East St. Louis (9-2) at #5 O’Fallon (8-3), Saturday, 1 p.m.
Class 4A
#7 Metamora (10-1) at #6 Mater Dei (10-1), Saturday, 1 p.m.
Class 3A
#12 Pana (8-3) at #1 Greenville (11-0), Saturday, 2 p.m.

Don’t under estimate the balanced running and passing attack of Glenbard South. Their two losses are at the hands of two undefeated 7A teams (Glenbard West and Geneva). They played GW the first game of the year and unfortunatly lost to Geneva from a bad snap that was recovered on the GS 4 yard line with 1:30 left in the game!! The QB is undefeated since taking over on the fifth game of the year!!!
