“Top Chef” event approaches
Tickets for the May 27 event at Soulard Market are gone, but fans of the Bravo reality series need not despair: Seats will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Shows are at 10:30 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m.
Local culinary school L’Ecole Culinaire is sponsoring the St. Louis stop on the tour and providing two sous chefs, Darren Garmer and Jason Evans. (Darren starred in our “Shop Like A Chef” videos, coincidentally shot at Soulard Market; Jason is no relation to me, although I have a son of the same name.) They will be helping Season Four Top Chef Stephanie Izard and Season Three chef’testant Dale Levitski.
