Exclusive Interview!

This week we have a guest to the blog and an exclusive interview with Noah the 9-year old!

Me: First of all, I am going to make sure that this is you, Noah. So I have a special question.

If you could have peas or broccoli for dinner, which would you choose?

Noah: Donuts!

Me: Good. Now I know it is you!

Me: So, you know we are doing this resolution challenge thing, right?

Noah: Um…….. Oh, you mean the picture in the paper and the article thing?

Me: YES! So, how do you think we are doing?

Noah: Awesome! Because I like going to art class and I also like taking care of the pets and stuff.

Me: So, is there anything else that say is different over the last few months…I will give you a hint, is there anything you are doing less of the time?

Noah: Watching TV.

Me: How do you feel about watching less TV?

Noah: Well, I will correct you, I don’t watch TV at all and I don’t really care because it is fun to be with your family and stuff. I play the Wii and that is good exercise and it is better than watching TV! And it also rots your brain (maniacal laugh!)

Me: What are some of the things we have done that you like best?

Noah: Eating ice cream!

Me: And??

Noah: Going to the zoo, going to the City Museum and going to Chicago and buying the IPOD Touch!

Me: Did you like riding the train from Chicago?

Noah: I thought I was going to hurl.

Me: Me, too. But did you like riding the train?

Noah: I liked that we that we got see stuff out the window but it was a long ride!

Me: Did you like the Gordon Parks exhibit at the Art Museum?

Noah: It had some weird but cool pictures. I liked this one with the boxer [Ali].

Me: Would you go back to the art museum and do you think you would have fun?

Noah: Yes because the art museum has really cool stuff. I really like the Indian exhibit.

Me: What else do you like to do with us as a family?

Noah: I like my family because they are fun and they are pretty cool and I like the places they take me to like the City Museum, the art museum, Chicago, art class, the pugfest and just going the Botanical Garden or out for ice cream.

Me: So, you think this has been a good experiment that we have been spending more time together?

Noah: Yes, it has been really cool.

Me: Really? Should we keep doing it?

Noah: Sure.

Me: OK. I need to know if this is really you. If you had a choice between going to the art museum or going to art class what would you do?

Noah: A very tricky question, I tells ya’ Candy. Sweet, sweet candy. I choose candy!

Me: OK, now I know it is you. Thanks for your time Noah the 9-year old.

Noah: Is it time already. I don’t want to go to bed, can I stay up and play the Wii?

Me: Goodnight, Noah.

Noah: Noooooooooooooooo!

Me: Goodnight Noah and thanks!!!!!
