Let the lineup announcements begin … Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters, Portishead and Jack Johnson will be headliners at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. It will be the first time Portishead has performed in the U.S. in nearly 10 years.

The Verve will also play the festival, their first show in the U.S. since breaking up in 1999. Love and Rockets have reunited and are also on the bill, along with The Raconteurs, The Breeders, Fatboy Slim, Madness, Death Cab For Cutie and Kraftwerk, among others.

The 3-day festival will be held the weekend of April 25th in Indio, California. This year’s headliners may be a little too mainstream (especially Johnson) for Coachella’s ‘indier than thou’ reputation. But scratch below the surface and you’ll find a pretty kick ass lineup, as usual, including: Tegan and Sara, The National, Animal Collective, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, Stars, Battles, Jens Lekman, Vampire Weekend, Black Lips, M.I.A., Hot Chip, Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks, DeVotchKa, The Teenagers, Bonde Do Role, The Streets, Simian Mobile Disco, Les Savy Fav, Sons & Daughters and the Shout Out Louds.
