Underground hip hop act Earthworms release album tonight
Matt Fernandes
St. Louis Post-Dispatch

St. Louis hasn’t been known for its underground hip hop, but local group Earthworms is laying down roots here with the release of its second album, “Bottle Full of Bourbon,” tonight at the Lucas School House. The disc is full of soulful, old school jams with singable choruses and great horn sections. The group uses live instruments onstage to accompany rappers Mathias, Kama and Black Patrick.  It should be a kickin’ time at the Lucas.  Kevin Johnson’s preview:   http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/entertainment/columnists.nsf/kevinjohnson/story/621F298CB5E61A8E862573D9000C5982?OpenDocument  www.myspace.com/earthworms  Other dates:

Feb 16 - Lucas School House

Feb 27 - The Gargoyle (F5 Records Showcase)
