Sweden’s Jose Gonzalez put on a hushed, spiritual performance last Wednesday at Washington University’s Graham Chapel, a perfect setting for his and opener Mia Doi Todd’s spare, acoustic music. During his set, Gonzalez covered Massive Attack (Teardrop) and The Knife (Heartbeats).
