Here are a few shots of Caribou, who played last Thursday at the Billiken Club. I elbowed my way through the kiddos and up to the stage, which was necessary as you had to be in the extreme front to see much (or any) of the band. The presence of a bar alone makes the Billiken Club far superior to Wash U’s Gargoyle, but they clearly need to raise the stage.

As for the music, Dan Snaith and his crew put on a good show, enhanced by some cool visuals projected behind them. Snaith and co-drummer Ahmed Gallab placed the two drum kits facing and up against each other at the front of the stage and wailed away on most of the songs.
