Denver’s DeVotchKa put on a mellow but engaging show last night at the Pageant. All four members showed incredible versatility, constantly switching up their instruments.

Tom Hagerman carried the workload of three people, playing accordion, violin, piano and leading the string section with dexterity. Lead singer Nick Urata alternated between guitars and worked the theremin, always a highlight. His unique voice was in good shape as he poured passion into every note.
