Louisville’s Forecastle Fest blends music, art & activism

Since we don’t have a major music festival here (will it ever happen?), consider jaunting across I-64 to Louisville, where they have put together a pretty strong lineup. The annual gathering is equal parts Music, Art, and Activism.
Forecastle is the name and it takes place July 25-27, drawing over 10,000 patrons to the Louisville Waterfront.
Headliners include the Disco Biscuits, Tortoise, Del McCoury Band, Ekoostik Hookah, Z-Trip, Dr. Dog, GZA and Del the Funky Homosapian. Environmentalist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will be the keynote speaker.
