No Denver coverage this week

Despite the note in Sunday’s paper (”Best of the Web”), this space will not feature photos or a review of the Foo Fighters and Supergrass at Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheater.
The band postponed the two sold out shows this week, disappointing fans who had flown in for the show. Frontman Dave Grohl was apparently ill and was “in no shape to deliver the kind of balls-out performance” that fans deserve.
The group I was with wanted to see a doctor’s note as they had all spent some serious jack getting out there from California. They are Foo Fighters fans no more. We went to Rocky Mountain National Park instead and had an amazing (and exhausting) time hiking.
As of last check, the band’s St. Louis show on July 20 is still on.
