The Walkmen release new album early for charity

The Walkmen (NYC) surprised their fans yesterday by releasing their new album, “You & Me,” at special $5 price, with all of the money going to benefit cancer research and treatment. It’s a download only offer that will last three weeks.
The album is available on AmieStreet.com as part of the website’s ongoing Download To Make A Difference campaign.
Donations will be in honor of seven-month-old Luca Vasallo, a ‘friend to the band’ who is fighting a disease.
The Walkmen are touring soon, but will not stop in STL. Hardcore fans can see them at the Metro in Chicago on September 12.
