Local band to accompany Buster Keaton film tonight at Off Broadway
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra may not be doing a Charlie Chaplin play-a-long this year, but music fans (maybe not the Symphony set) can experience something similar tonight at Off Broadway (3509 Lemp Ave.)
The Rats and People Motion Picture Orchestra (formerly just Rats and People) will provide live accompaniment to the silent Buster Keaton film Go West tonight. They’ll set up in the balcony and the movie will be screened on the stage. The cover is $7 and showtime is at 9 pm.
The venue will follow it up with a free show Saturday with Jon Hardy and the Public, Santa, and Caleb Travers. Pabst Blue Ribbon will be $1 until 11 pm.
