Triple bill and swag meet at Tap Room Friday
Matt Fernandes
St. Louis Post-Dispatch

The Tap Room will go old school this Friday as members of numerous bands spanning the last few decades will get together and perform.

The night will be hosted by two of St. Louis’ most knowledgable music enthusiasts, Chris King and Thomas Crone.

And, as a first of its kind, the two will present the Local Indie Rock Swag Swap Meet, where anyone with a “sleeve of shrinkwrapped CDs of a dead band in their basement could get together and trade stuff.” So if you have any dead rock band T-shirts or a stack of ‘zines you could never get rid of, bring it on.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. in the Eliot Room, no cover.

Participants should RSVP to Chris King at brodog@hotmail.com

The trio of bands:

James Will and the Delusions of South Grandeur (members of Julia Sets, Xenophobe, Museum Mutters)
