White Rabbits hopes for Frightening amount of success in ‘09

Brooklyn’s White Rabbits, made up largely of native Missouri cats, are ready to uncork their year with a new album and some high profile dates.
Coming off tours with such notables as The Walkmen, Spoon and Tokyo Police Club, the sextet hunkered down in the studio some months back to produce their sophomore LP, It’s Frightening. Spoon’s Britt Daniel produced the disc, out on TBD Records (Radiohead’s US home) a week from today. Spoon’s influence is evident on the upbeat, rhythmic tunes.
Catch them June 10 at the Firebird, the night before they play the Bonnaroo fest in Manchester, TN.
