Can we post Lost & Found items there? I found a big set of keys 2 weekends ago that still have not found an owner

Uhhh…isn’t there already a pretty popular free site you can post ads on? I think it may have Craig something in it’s name?

I browsed the site and it’s definitely no Craigslist, in spite of the fact that Craigslist has been criticized for refusing to adopt the all the flash that is teh internet today. I’ll take a wait-and-see approach on this new site.

Note to the powers that be…need more categories for items for sale. “Miscellaneous” ain’t gonna cut it.

this appears to be a craigslist STYLE website with a few added features. personally i think the lack of features is what makes CL so easy to use. although CL makes money it is not a commercial site in the traditional sense (no web ads, etc.). personally i prefer and will continue to use CL, but this article did say that this is a “new” online site to buy/sell items, and that is not a lie.

Bah and here I was thinking it would have a good job search feature when all it does is link back to STLjobs. The job search that you guys have is awful and full of get rick quick scams and very few actual opportunities. Also if you are going to have the page redirect to STLJobs you should be able to go back to the original site without being redirecting again and again and again. Craigslist is way better.

Also there is a guy trying to sell a bulldog and English bulldog on their for 100 bucks that is a scam and should be quickly taken down by the site owner. Anyone trying to sell such an expensive dog for 100 and it’s a puppy is a scam artist.

Why no firearms ads? Last I checked they’re not illegal, and they’re still allowed in the print ads.

Alright! Another freebie from the PD. Now I no longer have to pay for classified ads and I have one more reason not to buy a print copy of the Post-Dispatch. Hmm, I wonder why the company stock is worth less than the Sunday Edition?

How much did the TheList pay for this ad?

I have a Singer Treadle Sewing Machine for sale. It also comes with a cabinet to cover it that looks like a chest of drawers. It must be over a hundred years old or close to that. I would like $200.00 for it.
Annjoe@charter.net It works.
