The golfing greats may be coming to the BMW Championship in the Capital City at the end of the summer, but we’re a sucker for TPC Sawgrass and the famed No. 17 Island hole. PGA’ers not named Tiger Woods have been taking aim at that pin for the last two days at The Players Championship, and those qualifying for weekend play will get two more shots at it. Also, if the rain ever lets up in Indianapolis, the first weekend of qualifying for the Indy 500 will start filling out the field. On Saturday, check out runs at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on The Deuce (ESPN2) and in between at 2 p.m. on ABC (KDNL-Ch. 30). Sunday is one-stop shopping for qualifying coverage, starting at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on The Deuce.
