Boutique Chic
Jenna, 25, vintage boutique owner
I applaud Jenna, not only for her smashing sense of style, but for opening her own authentic vintage boutique (TAG, 6314 Delmar Blvd.) here in St. Louis. Vintage items are not only main staplesĀ of a street wise ensemble, they are usually one-of-a-kind pieces that help separate you from the crowd.
What are wearing? Let’s see, my hat is from Urban Outfitters. (I got it in New Orleans about a week before the hurricane hit.) I found this scarf on the street; I’m not really sure where. My shirt is a V-neck from American Apparel and my jeans are just super old. The shoes were from my mom who bought them in New York somewhere. I think they were selling them at Bryant Park.
What is your favorite piece of clothing? Oh God, I just got this beautiful vintage dress. It’s a bright purple, silk jersey maxi dress and it’s my new favorite.
Who is your style icon? It is, hands down, Sienna Miller. Maybe it could be a little bit of Kate Moss, but mainly Sienna Miller.
What’s on your iPod? The Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic, a little bit of Warren Haynes and some Ben Harper

I am entering my senior year at Webster University where I have created a self-designed interdisciplinary major in fashion journalism. This summer I am interning for the features section of the Post-Dispatch and a majority of my work can be found in the Saturday Lifestyle section of the paper. You can also see some of my styling in the quarterly LUXE publication.
Very hip! I love this new boutique too.
