There’s a bill pending in the Missouri Legislature that would forbid sex offenders from loitering within 500 feet of parks, or from coaching sports teams with members younger than 17.
Some towns in Pennsylvania have laws that try to stop sex offenders from living near a park.
Missouri made headlines last fall with the battle over restricting sex offenders’ activity on Halloween, with the man who would become governor saying the court’s ruling in favor of restrictions came “not a moment too soon.”

Okay, so we don’t want to talk about Lenten sacrifices. That’s clear. But let’s talk fish — more specifically, fish fries.
They go on year-round but there are hundreds more in the six weeks before Easter. One of our forum visitors made his own Google map plotting out local fish fries. And you can always check our events calendar to find all the fish fries listed there, too.
