Walk faster, eat less.
We’re always getting advice on how we can prolong our lives, and one study recently released said people who walk at a faster clip will outlive the more leisurely strollers.
That came just after a burst of coverage of studies that showed people who eat less — a lot less than most folks — can live longer.

A state lawmaker wants to give the “King of Beers” its own kingdom by making Budweiser the official beer of Missouri.
In today’s story by the Associated Press, a bill sponsored by state rep. Rep. Curt Dougherty would make Budweiser Missouri’s official beer. Dougherty claims that since Budweiser is a Missouri-based international icon that — if officially recognized — might even persuade more people to visit the state.
The brand is already the “Official International Beer” sponsor of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and will be the “Official Beer” of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Plus, it’s an official sponsor for 26 professional…

The St. Louis Blues had this idea for boosting attendance to Tuesday night games: Tuesdays on Tap. Buy a ticket for $25 or more and you’ll get free beer all night.
“You get the tickets, we’ll get the drinks,” says the offer, which was e-mailed to many fans late Thursday morning. The offer applied to bottled water and soft drinks, too.
