An incredible story: We couldn’t believe it when we heard it in the newsroom this afternoon. Not only have police found 13-year-old Ben Ownby, missing since Monday. But they have also found Shawn Hornbeck, who was 11 when he went missing without a trace Oct. 6, 2002.

One person has been charged in the case, according to authorities. Authorities said at an earlier news conference that they were completely surprised to find Hornbeck there.

“To have two endings like this is just unbelievable,” said Franklin County Sheriff Gary Toelke.

The frightening disappearance of 13-year-old Ben Ownby certainly has me hugging my kids a little closer; you may have the same feeling with your kids.
