Do you wish for more snow, or less?
Schools are closed, people are yanking sleds out of garages and basements and some St. Louisans are enjoying the 8 inches or so of snow that fell across our area.
I’m one of the people who love snow — the more, the better. We head west every year to ski and come back home bemoaning our wimpy winters.
Readers send in their snow photos — you can see them here — and I wish we could see them more often.
What about you? Do you relish the snow, both as a beauty and a bother? Or do you long for the season of flip-flops?

I love snow. I wish it snowed more than 2-3 times a winter here.
Afraid you’re wrong again, #16 Kelli. I live in Clayton. I don’t consider myself a yuppy–(I try my best to stay away from Starbuck’s Frappuccino Blended Creme drinks and force myself to indulge only in Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte. )Interesting request, too, that I should return to where I came from. Truth is, Kelli, I was born in Clayton, and that’s were I now live See, I’m doing something right, aren’t I? And why would you think I’m not concerned about the welfare of you and the rest of our elderly St. Louisans? We “yuppies” owe so much to your generation, you know? But, oh yes, the possibility of a wet, salty, snow-covered pant leg is kinda kinky, Kelli. You’re so right there, I admit. Still know what kinky feels like?
Why in the hell are older people like Kelly so angry? There must be something in life you enjoy, Kelly, in addition to the snow.
What? More snow of course. Duh!!!
Bring it on!! Let it Snow, Let it Snow !!!
The only reason I remain in St. Louis. If residents don’t like snow, there’s always Cali or Florida.
I’m 26 years old, born and raised near the “WestPlex”. And saying you’re from Clayton just makes me gleam. My office was located in Ballwin, and I am so happy we moved from there. I’m about to head out for lunch now, hopefully I don’t slip.
I would love to see more of it! I am a displaced Southerner that bought a set of steel wheels and a fully studded set of winter tires back in 1995. I switch to them the end of November every year and have not lost one day due to snow or ice! I watch these so-called 4X4 vehicles sliding/fishtailing all the time since their vehicle is not a true 4-wheel drive. They have power to the left front and right rear unless they paid extra for the locker/limited slip in the rear. These people drive too fast for conditions thinking that their vehicle is a 4-wheel drive and they loose control. Sad for them but funny to me!
Never enough snow for me. I love it!!!! I want more!!! I smiled through my entire donut spin at the quicktrip this morning. Fishtailed out of the spin nicely!!! I grew up in the city in the 70’s and learned how to handle snow in those days. White knucklers…those afraid of it, should STAY HOME! You are a hazard to us snowbunnies!!! And same for those with TOO much confidence. Like the guy on my rear as I pulled into quicktrip. How stupid! He finally backed off while I did my spin. Yes, I long for the old days when we saw this every winter. When 6-8 inches was not considered significant!! LET IT SNOW BABY!!!!!!!
#25,Kelli.
How interesting.
Lunch, eh? Do they allow you solids?
AWWW…Kelli hurt Ryan’s feelings. Now he is lashing out at the elderly in frustration. I don’t think Kelli is an older person. Few folks before 1970 named their kids names that end in I…not even the I-talians! It lowers the glass ceiling by three feet at least to be a woman whose name ends in I. And don’t even think about putting a heart over any letter when you sign your name. I love snow as long as it goes away when I need to get somewhere in a hurry.
Folks:
We are talking about snow here. There’s no need to get snarky…
