Do you wish for more snow, or less?
Schools are closed, people are yanking sleds out of garages and basements and some St. Louisans are enjoying the 8 inches or so of snow that fell across our area.
I’m one of the people who love snow — the more, the better. We head west every year to ski and come back home bemoaning our wimpy winters.
Readers send in their snow photos — you can see them here — and I wish we could see them more often.
What about you? Do you relish the snow, both as a beauty and a bother? Or do you long for the season of flip-flops?

Al Gore was wrong!
Define snarky?
Watch out where the huskies go…don’t you eat that snarky snow.
Greg…did you give all the hurricanes to Rob? What am I going to do with beads?
Oh wait…I can trade them for…HHMMMM
Snow is good, cause I didn’t drive on it today. Last night, after 12 hours at work I slid home 15 miles in 50 minutes. Not good. If St. Louis were flat, it could snow to the window wells, and I wouldn’t care.
I was raised in Jeff County and (sort of) know how to drive hills in the snow, but know they can also throw you like a nice gentle mule that gets, um, snarky.
I cancelled an morning appt. today to go to Lake St. Louis when the radio said they were diverting I-70 onto LSL Drive. But all is well. I like snow. Especially like last night when I went outside barefoot in it to take the trash out. Yum! I felt like Snoopy doing the Snoopy dance.
You know, i appreciate the occasional 6″ of snow. Let’s face it, St. Louis only gets hit, what, two or three times a winter with snow. I think we have it pretty good here in the ol’ midwest. And I say Kudos to those folks out there last night busting the bottoms so those who had to work could get there as safely as possible. MODOT did a great job. But I called in anyway and stayed home and played with the family. If you’ve forgotten how magical a little snow can be, take your shoes off, run outside across your yard and back. If you aren’t laughing at yourself when you get back inside, then you should seek an immediate vacation. St. Louis is a great city. Bring on the snow and make people smile! GBE.
Yawn. What a crappy question. Tomorrow maybe you can ask - Do you like the cold or warm climates? Oh wait, you already asked that before. Talk about the dumbing down of America!
I LOVE snow.Nothing is more beautiful…if your not driving in it,that is…49 fender benders in St.Charles County this last two days.YIKES be careful since snow use to not fall so much in Missouri but now does quite often..
It’s not the snow. It’s the meteorologists missing the HI on Tuesday by 19 degrees that bothers me.
