How can McCaskill best help Obama?

Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill, (D-Mo) has been very active lately in her support of the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Sen. Barack Obama, (D-Ill.).

The Missouri Democrat has readily appeared on nationwide television and radio broadcasts, touting the benefits and reasons why Obama should be the nation’s next president.

According to a story in Wednesday’s Post-Dispatch, her increasing prominence as one of a handful of top surrogates in Obama’s presidential bid is increasingly being asked to appear on TV and campaign-trail appearances, as well as behind-the-scenes advice.

“She’s someone we have no hesitance in putting on TV or on the road because she understands and reflects the message of this campaign perfectly,” said David Axelrod, Obama’s chief campaign adviser. “She makes sense. She doesn’t sound like the typical Washington palaver.”

“She was with him early. She reaches out to women, which he needs to do after defeating Hillary Clinton and she’s from a swing border state,” said Larry Sabato, director of the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia.

Peter Fenn, a Democratic strategist not affiliated with the Obama campaign, said McCaskill’s surprise endorsement last January helped cement her role in the operation.

All this has created new rumors about her prospects as a vice presidential candidate, and she’s repeatedly appeared on lists of possible choices.

Will Claire McCaskill be a plus or a minus for Obama’s campaign?

So how DO you think they would handle Claire’s little nursing home skeleton in her closet? I had almost forgotten about that until a poster kindly reminded us about it. See why they want you to drink AB stuff…so you will lose your memory of all the shady things they do.

That site you mentioned about VP Claire is bouncing off of an australian server and free domains…I doubt it is much more than wishful thinking. It is just a subdomain with lots of free pissy ads. Like Claire, do ya Steve? Me too, a little…but not if she believes in firing whistleblowers.

Thanks Joe for that inane rant full of assumptions and pouting. You got so emotional you forgot to call yourself HD Vet this time around. How many names do you need to use anyway? You don’t need to join the army to be a patriot or to exercise your right to freedom of speech. I hope you don’t end up popping a vein somewhere while throwing these hissy fits. Please make sure to see a physician on a regular basis and get regular checkups.

Hey Tim…I am sure that there is more than one person who is tired of your self righteousness and bull crap throwing on this blog. Your comment about paying money instead of fighting the war of those you obviously have a crush on in DC was sickening. You showed your lack of character right there. Typical republican. Now all there is left to do is collect social security and medicare while dissing dem programs. Too bad you can’t collect social security, medicare, a sweet military benefit or two AND high congressional pay and bennies like Johnny McCain. And he doesn’t even need that since he can just do a little good OLD boy in and out on that wealthy blond automaton he has. She won’t trust him with all of it because she knows him too well, but she would trick him out a little I am sure. Go home Timmie…time for bed! Or better yet…to the sands…

About Claire? Looks like she has problems in the past, and may do the same in the future. Just like all the boys…so put her in. They luv blonds.

Pia aka Slugger 2.0, if you so worried about the armed forces than you sign up for them. You seem to forget that it is a volunteer army, and no one has to serve in the military if they don’t want to. But someone does have to foot the bill for it, and as I said earlier I am proud to do my part by being a productive tax paying citizen of this country. Your diatribe shows how little you appreciate everything else that has to happen for the U.S. Armed Forces to operate effectively. From the tax paying guy who writes programs for figher planes at Boeing to the tax paying farmer who grows food for their MREs to the tax paying guy digging up iron ore to make steel for tanks, it takes a whole country to support such a high-tech and formidable force as America’s fighting men and women. But in usual liberal short sightedness you can’t suppress your raging emotions enough to step back and see the forest for the trees. You don’t have to pick up a weapon to help defend the nation, a concept that flew over your head like a squadron of F-16s…

Tim,

I’m sorry for getting frustrated, I had not seen that you had requested this information from me again.

Here’s another piece that you will find very interesting. Concerning the Cheney/Bush and Clinton connection concerning Enron and some other very corrupt matters that will explain why we find ourselves where we are at today as a country.

Momoma,

There are behaviors that I do HATE very much, but I have it under control. I have not killed anybody. My blood pressure is on the very low end always, none of it is anything to worry your liitle head about. But thanks anyway.

JWM said in part: “…Lets face it, Americans would rather have 100 years of war and be POOR than have a black, Catholic man in the WHITEhouse. …”

Did I miss something? Do we have another candidate who is worthy? Is there hope? Do we have a black, Catholic man running?

Darn, I guess that was just a general comment. I was hopeful that we might actually have a decent candidate to choose. Instead, we are being forced to try to figure out which is the lesser of two evils, which is no way to choose the President of the United States.
