Contest: You’ve got 5 minutes with the president…now what?
What would you do with a five-minute audience with the next president of the United States? That’s the question we’re asking in our online, “Make It Clear Competition.” We’re running this (and judging it) in cooperation with Washington University’s Gephardt Institute for Public Service.
Here’s what we’re looking for: Assume you have five minutes one-on-one with the next would-be president of the United States. Write, describe, express or otherwise show what you would say or what would happen.
What to send: We want you to use whatever medium you like to express yourself. Produce a video. Write an essay. Submit a photo slideshow. Build a collage and send us the image. What’s your medium of expression? Your choice.
Deadline: You have to submit your submission by noon on Oct. 1.
Dates to watch: We at the Post-Dispatch and the Gephardt Institute will narrow it down to five finalists. On Oct. 5, we’ll invite you to vote for a winner among our finalists. Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 9.
To the winner? The winner gets fame and glory — and a chance to blog about the presidential campaign for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
To enter: We’re not taking submissions on the blog. You’ve got to click here to send your video, photo, slideshow, essay or other submission in an e-mail.
